The connection is quite simple.

For the very basic start, you just need to connect:
- pins 1, 3 and 13 to +12V from the power supply,
- pin 2 to power supply’s ground and to Arduino’s GND pin
- pin 8 to CAN High pin on CANBUS shield
- pin 9 to CAN Low pin on CANBUS shield
- pin 4 is optional and cannot be connected permanently. This pin refers to TRIP button which shorts it ground at moment of being pressed (momentary switch). You can wire it to the switch for future purposes, but it’s not being used at this moment.
